Tax Technician

Vos principales responsabilités incluront:
- Working in a challenging and collaborative environment with like-minded people who are eminent in their respective technical field.
- Assisting with technical research, developing and documenting tax compliance and planning recommendations.
- Preparing working files for tax engagements.
- Working with clients, under the supervision of tax managers and partners, to obtain the necessary information to assess the accuracy and appropriateness of the records.
- Investigating specific tax accounts assigned, and identifying and resolving any issues.
- Working on concurrent assignments.
- Developing your technical skills and knowledge of our clients' business.
- Preparing personal, corporate, partnership and trust income tax returns and associated information returns.
- Assisting in the preparation of income tax elections.
- Identifying client service opportunities.
Le candidat recherché aura:
- Diploma or undergraduate degree in a related discipline (finance, business, accounting, etc.)
- 1 – 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent analytical skills and creativity to identify problems and potential solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.
- Experience with MS office, CaseWare/CaseView, QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, Taxprep a strong asset.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in teams.
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
- A keen interest in tax work.
